Kittie Vintage Tibetan Castoro Boots
My dear friend Mary, emailed me this morning most likely over her steaming non-fat-sugar-free-vanilla latte, about…shoes. I have to tell you, I hate shoe shopping. I hate the fact it requires talking to a sales person in order to get your size. I hate the whole “trying on” process. I love the internet however, and it is indeed boot season on the web. Below are Mary’s specifics. Editor’s note: before this display of shoe talk, we were talking politics and fine wine.
1. Brown, round toed leather boots, with a skinny heel, not too chunky, around 3 inches…to the knee preferably (although I do want a pair of booties to throw on with jeans, but not for my classic dressy boots)
2. Black, flat or cute wedge, lower boot, made for everyday use, like to wear to class and work, so they will look cute with jeans. Or if I need to dress up a little for work. Everyday boot, that I don’t want to spend a ton of money on.
3. Shoes, heels/pumps for work or cute ones with jeans, I currently only have one pair of heels and they are brown. Not too expensive on these, because I will probably wear them a lot for work and out to dinners and what not, so they will get beat up…eventually when I am making mroe money I’ll invest more in nicer ones.
And so “Mission Mary” begins. I have found a handful of shoes from a few sites that meet her criteria. Obviously some are ridiculously expensive and others are right in the budget.
