The Go-To Dress

Every girl needs a go to dress for each season. Something that can easily be thrown on, yet just look perfect. Who better to design a trendy yet classic, comfortable yet stylish, go to dress than Diane Von Furstenberg. Everything that woman touches is an instant trend. My favorite dress for the season is DVF’s Bilboa Dress.

It epitomizes everything a girl needs for a casual winter time dress. It’s debut should most defiantly be on Christmas, with a pair of gorgeous knee high leather boots. The relaxed fit is perfect to hide that extra Christmas cookie (not that I will be eating any cookies at all…), but yet the cowl neck paired with sexy boots add enough to keep it hot.

After Bilboa’s first appearance it can become the perfect “go to” dress. For a dinner date with the boyfriend and his parents for whom you need to look like the “good girl,” but you definately do not want to start resembling his mom with the clothing choice! I would wear the Bilboa with a pair of sexy baby fish net stockings (not the large fishnets those just cheapen the entire outfit!) and a nice pair of booties, the trend of the moment.

When I work all day and then proceed right to Happy Hour for a martini…then dinner…then more drinks, I always feel grungy and totally boring. Who wants to do a night on the town in matronly work pants and button up blouse? The Bilboa Dress is my perfect solution, with opaque black stockings and my knee high leather boots, I can be respectable enough for the boring people in my office and fashionable enough for a night out, martini in hand of course.
