Practically UGG
There are classics that remain under the radar for a long time before they are picked up by the masses. UGGs are among them, but unlike a trend, I’m afraid (rather, glad) they’re here to stay. In my youthful days, I would spend a great deal of time in Malibu, with my Aunt Gabrielle. There I would catch bombshell surfer babes sporting cozy looking boots with their bikinis. Now, everyone has them and if you live in upstate NY, in the winter months — for good reason. UGGs are the closest thing to chicken noodle soup.
I proclaim that UGGs are indeed not trendy - that they are in fact practical. Perhaps not for Californian’s (but hey it’s get cold there too…a few days of the year) but for those trudging through snow 8 months out of the year it’s a godsend — especially for our jeans that have spent many a winter with salt rims, soaked at the bottom, peeling the warmth from our socks and sucking the energy from our pale, vitamin D-less bodies.
I wear mine constantly - perhaps, too much. I recall this past Monday, when I ran to the mailbox in freezing temperatures in nothing but boxers, a KISS t-shirt and my invincible UGGs, as if somehow, they’d shield me from the blistering cold. Not true — in fact, pants are necessary. Anyhow, here are the new UGG® Australia ‘Cardy’ Classic Boot check out the buttons - I love em’.
