Netflix, Blockbuter, Netflix, Blockbuster. I went Blockbuster! If you don’t know what I am talking about I am talking movies by mail. It’s really easy and cheap, which is good.

Both Netflix and Blockbuster offer similar deals where you become a member and select movies from their website which are sent to you by mail. Keep them as long as you want and send them back in the mailer they send along with the DVD. Postage is prepaid.

The reason I went with Blockbuster is simple, there is one not far from where I live. This means I can return a movie directly to their store if I want and they will give me an additional rental free of charge. They also give me a printable coupon each month which I can turn in at the store for another movie or game. Obviously they are trying to get you in to the store.

I pay $10/month which means I get one DVD at a time through the mail. Then I exchange it at the store for another DVD and turn in my coupon for another. At that point there is yet another DVD on the way to me through the mail. I don’t need anymore movies than that during the month so that program works great for me but they offer other deals as well for example you can get three DVDs through the mail at once, ect.
